On the way you can study the vicinity of Ponetaung Ponenya and Yaw. Kanpalet trekking tour (3 nights/4 days) Day 1: Bagan-Kanpalet (by jeep) After breakfast at Bagan Hotel and head off from Bagan at about 8am passing through the greenery area with big mountains and ranges (about 7 hours drive). Kanpalet is a very beautiful hill station 3000 feet above sea level. Stop at a hotel and enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Kanpalet. Day 2: Kanpalet-Htet Shwe (soft trekking) After breakfast, depart from the hotel at 8:30am to Hal Laungpan village. It takes about 45 minutes soft trek and observes Naga hill tribes. Most of the women in the village have tattooed their faces and strongly believed in spiritualism. Then continue to Htet Shwe village (it is a heavy trek for 6 hours) passing through deep forest, waterfalls and sheer steep mount. Observe the Muum tribe in this village. When you arrive at Htet Shwe village where arrange a house for the night stop and dinner. Day 3: Htet Shwe-Donue-Kanpalet (trekking) Wake up in the early morning and observe the way of life in the village then depart from the village at 8:30 am after the breakfast arrange by our local trekking guide. Start your one day trekking, march to Donue village (5 hours). When you pass through the virgin forest, you can have a chance to see colorful butterflies and different kinds of orchids. After lunch at there and walk out to take a jeep car to drive back to hotel. It takes about 2.5 hours drive. Diner and Overnight in Kanpalet. Day 4:Kanpalet – Bagan (by jeep) After Breakfast at the hotel, wrap up the package and headed again to Bagan. |
